More about Rachel Phelps:

Rachel E. Phelps, DNP, MSN, RN, CNE®cl is an Assistant Professor and Simulation Director at High Point University’s School of Nursing. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Administration and an Academic Nurse Educator concentration from Samford University, she is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in cardiology, simulation, and interprofessional education. Dr. Phelps is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and a Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator. Her professional experience spans intensive care, cardiac care, pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, and nurse management. She is actively involved in professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau International and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and contributes to nursing scholarship through publications and conference presentations. Passionate about faith-based service, she engages in medical missions and volunteer work through Nurses Christian Fellowship and Samaritan's Purse.
